Legendary Singer Whitney Houston dead at 48 (1963-2012)

Legendary singer Whitney Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55pm today in Beverly Hills, California.
The singer was found in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and the cause of her death is still unknown. Houston was one of the most admired singers in the world; she inspired singers like Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, Pink and Christina Aguilera just to name a few. The singer meant so much to all up and coming singers, she was the benchmark, the standard in which all aspiring singers measure themselves against to.
The late singer sold more than 170 Million records, albums and videos. She was also a movie star and a mom.

Jennifer Lopez said on Twitter: “Such as loss. One of the greatest voices of our time. Sending out prayers to her family. R.I.P Whitney.
Pink: Whitney was the reason why many of us do we what we do. “A few stolen moments is all that we share” R.I.P
Mariah Carey: Heartbroken and in tears over the shocking death of my friend, the incomparable Ms. Whitney Houston.
Houston died on the eve of the 54th Grammy Awards. The show is expected to go on and a special tribute to her is in the works for tomorrow. The singer had a long battle with drugs and alcohol but it is still unknown if that had anything to do with her death as of yet.
