Venus Williams
Venus Williams has announced that she will release a special numbered and limited edition collection of her recently launched EleVen by Venus Williams line inspired by her wardrobe in the upcoming Summer Olympics.

Expressed in a red, white navy and gold color palette, the collection is also entirely designed and manufactured in the United States in a befitting patriotic statement.

Venus admits that there is a nod to Wonder Woman in the collection and said “I hope it will help me channel my favorite superhero and manifest another gold medal”.
Comprised of a dress and a skirt and top combination, each style will be limited to a production run which will be numbered. The collection will be available exclusively at www.elevenbyvenus.com ranging in price from $52 to $96.00 dollars.
Venus has earned a singles Olympic gold medal in 2000 and two for doubles in 2000 and 2008, making her the holder of more Olympic Gold Medals than any other woman tennis player. A crowd favorite, her choice of clothing on the court usually garners as much attention as her powerful play.
Venus’ recent on-court performance has boosted her WTA ranking from 134th in the world to 47th, placing her among the top 56 singles players in the world and qualifying her for the Olympic Games.  Venus is one of only four players who were selected to represent the US Olympic Tennis Team, which will also include sister Serena Williams, Christina McHale and Varvara Lepchenko from Uzbekistan.
The sisters have decided to color coordinate their outfits during the games. In the past they have often been known to wear matching clothing.
The Olympic Games will be held in London this year from July 27th through August 12th.
