Alice by Temperley Pre-Fall 2013
Alice Temperley was inspired by
the Japanese folk tale “Heron Maiden” for her pre-fall collection. The story of
an enchanted fabric weaver who turns into a bird was translated into stylized
bird jacquards, obi folds, cherry-blossom embroidery all in a palette of taupe,
cream, mustard, black and red.

The collection included
several maxi style dresses, high-waist trousers and several chunky knit
sweaters paired with embroidered skirts.
What do you guys think of the
collection?
