The 30th annual Asia Fest Tampa Bay 2013

The 30th annual Asia Fest Tampa Bay was held today at the Cotanchobee Park in the Channelside District in Tampa.

This free cultural event counts with the support of the Mayor of the City of Tampa Bob Buckhorn who made a personal appearance as well as Dr. Kimi Springsteen Community Liaison from the office of community affairs of hillsborough county.
The goal of Asia Fest is to share Asian culture with the public and promote the bond of friendship and better understanding between the East and the West.
At the Asia Fest Tampa Bay you can experience the tastes, sights and sounds of seventeen unique countries from all over Asia including: Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
Entertainment includes colorful dance performances, traditional music, food and the annual Miss Asia Fest Pageant.
