The 30 minutes “Fashionably Late” talk show with Rachel Zoe will debut on Sept. 24 at 10:30 pm immediately after “Project Runway” which is going to be 90 minutes this year. Joining Rachel on set will be Harper’s Bazaar editor-at-large Derek Blasberg, her husband Roger Berman and celebrity guests.
Rachel Zoe’s highly successful reality TV show on Bravo “The Rachel Zoe Project” came to an end in 2013 after five seasons. The series made her a celebrity and followed her journey as she worked with celebrity clients , attended fashion week and styled photo shoots for mayor magazines all while trying to balance her personal and professional life.
Her new talk show is completely different from the series, “Fashionably Late” will give viewers a weekly look of the latest fashion news and at what’s hot and what’s not in fashion. The show’s set will be Zoe’s Melrose Avenue headquarters.
Rachel’s fashion talk show comes at a time when the show “Fashion Police” on E! left a void in the fashion talk show market since it went off the air amid feud between the hosts and it is not even confirm if it is coming back. Zoe’s talk show can help filled that void if done well.
In an interview with WWD, Zoe said about the new talk show: “It’s definitely going to be lighthearted and fun and fashion and style-centric”.
