Anne Fontaine Fall/Winter 2015
The new Anne Fontaine Fall/Winter Collection was inspired by
the Victorian era, it features exquisite embroidery and trim as well as velvet,
jacquard and arabesque motifs.

According to their website she had this to say about the
collection: “The superb silhouettes play the androgynous card through timeless,
resolutely modern power dressing: ties, braces, cummerbunds, houndstooth,
herringbone, leather yokes and shirtdresses in dyed yarn; all of those
intricate details is what makes the ANNE FONTAINE woman”.

If you are not familiar with the brand, Anne Fontaine is the
queen of the white shirts; that is her signature piece. Born in Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil, she moved to France as a teenager where her passion for fashion
flourished. She created her first collection of white shirts 1993 and has
never looked back since. The Anne Fontaine house has grown extensively over the
years, in addition to her signature white shirt, the brand also has
ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, belts, cufflinks, collars, jewelry, scarves,
sunglasses and even a home collection.

Anne is also a philanthropist, in 2011 she created The Anne
Fontaine Foundation whose purpose is to ensure the protection and the
reforestation of the Brazilian Atlantic Forest.
