Lane Bryant launches new Fall campaign #PlusIsEqual

Plus size retailer Lane Bryant had a huge success with their Spring
#ImNoAngel campaign that garnered over 16 billion media impressions worldwide, that now the company wants to build off of that momentum by launching a new Fall campaign
in the middle of the magazine shot in black and white where you couldn’t see
the models faces only their shapes and from that, we saw that they were plus
size models. There was no branding on the ad and that created a huge buzz and speculation
on the internet about what company was behind it. The ironic thing is that
those were the only plus size models on Vogue magazine’s 832 page September
issue and they were in an ad.
campaign and soon you will see the gorgeous plus size models all over the internet,
magazines, billboards, commercial and all kinds of advertisement as the company
pushes for equality in advertisement and body acceptance. The campaign was shot
by fashion photographer Cass Bird and will run in fashion magazines Vogue and Glamour
as well as in popular fashion news websites Refinery29 and Popsugar.

Awards. The #PlusIsEqual campaign features plus size models: Ashley
Graham, Precious Victoria Lee, Georgia Pratt, Justine Legault and Sabina

As part of the campaign Lane Bryant created the #plusisequal Billboard App, where you can add a photo of yourself on a billboard to promote and share on social media. The idea is to promote the message that all women deserve equal representation. Create your own billboard at www.pluisequalcom/mybillboard.
and by using the hashtag #PlusIsEqual on social media. Lane Bryant is also taking over Times Square today Monday 9-14-15 at 12pm, if you are in New York head over to Times Square for the big event.
