Sports Illustrated Swim Beach 2016 in Miami

The Sports Illustrated “Swim Beach” Fan Festival 2016 came to a close
yesterday in Miami, Florida. I was invited to the event by Lane Bryant, who had a Swimsuit Lifestyle Bungalow complete with a photo
booth, fun social media sharing opportunities and a digital shop.

The 2-day event was FREE and open to the public. Fans had the opportunity to meet the 2016 SI Swimsuit models live as well as the Lane Bryant models of the #ThisBody campaign : Tara Lynn, Precious Lee, Denise Bidot, Georgia Pratt and Ashley Graham. They had
Q&A sessions; autograph sessions; music from live DJs spinning; a Schick
Hydro Barbershop with free shaves and the chance to get a shave from an SI
Swimsuit model.

I was lucky to get up close and personal with some of the models, take pictures with them and ask them questions about the experience. They were all of course beautiful and very gracious!!.

This year Sports Illustrated is making history by having three different covers and one of them is plus model Ashley Graham who is the first plus size model to grace the cover of the prestigious magazine. The other two cover models are MMA fighter Ronda Rousey and model Hailey Clauson.
