EFR on the Scene at the World Baseball Classic 2017 in Miami
Hola Estrellitas!! I mentioned to you guys before that this year, I am going to share more of my life with all of you. My passions besides fashion of course, what I love to do and where I go. I love Miami! it is one of my favorite cities in the world and when I heard that the World Baseball Classic was going to be played there at Marlins Park, I drove to Miami to attend one of the games. The WBC is to Baseball what the FIFA World Cup is to soccer. The WBC is not as popular as the FIFA World Cup yet in the USA in my opinion, but I think that it will be in a few years. This is only their 3 time having it and just like the world cup, it is done every 4 years.
I was only able to get tickets to the Dominican Republic vrs Colombia game and we had a blast guys.
The energy in the ballpark was electric, we Dominicans are really passionate about Baseball and it is something that we cannot explain, you just have to go to a game to experience it for yourself. Drums, horns, Platanos, Guiras, flags and more, are just a few of the props that the fans took to the ballpark to cheer up their team. The place was probably 80% Dominican and 20% Colombian.
20 countries are participating in this year’s World Baseball Classic and the world’s best baseball players are competing for their home countries with pride and enthusiasm. If you get a chance to attend one of the games please do. They are super fun but I must warn you, it is loud in there. People are screaming and cheering for their teams from beginning to end, non-stop. The energy level is on 20 instead of 10.
The fashionista in me would not be able attend this event and not rock some D.R gear to support my team. Get you some WBC gear on the MLB Shop at www.mlbshop.com and support your team. I can’t wait to share with you guys my next adventure. Stay tuned next weekend but here is a little hint: Orlando…=)… Until next time…
