New Big & Tall Brand ‘XLG’ by Shaquille O’Neal Launching at JCPenney
Basketball superstar Shaquille O’Neal next move it’s diving into fashion. The former NBA player turned TV analyst and entrepreneur is launching a clothing line for big & tall men just like himself called XLG, in collaboration with JCPenney.
JCPenney said in a statement about the collection: “Launching in select stores and online at jcpenney.com this fall, this exclusive brand will include men’s apparel and furnishings. With modern fits combined with classic fabrics, Shaquille O’Neal XLG will feature a versatile collection for the Big & Tall customer that effortlessly transitions from day to night. Each garment will also be infused with performance features such as cooling fabrics and stretch components to ensure ultimate comfort”.
Shaq, 46, who is over 7 feet tall, always had trouble finding clothing for his tall frame and that is why his goal with this clothing line is to provide professional attire for guys his size at an affordable price (Everything is under $300 dollars).
According to the JCPenney website, the Shaquille O’Neal XLG Big & Tall Brand will offer over 60 unique styles of men’s suited separates, dress shirts, ties and belts in a range of sizes, all at affordable price points. Sale prices include a suit for $199.99, sport coat for $114.99 and dress shirt for $32.50. Big & tall men will discover suited separates and sport coats in sizes up to 64, belts up to 4XL, and extra-long ties.
