Hola Estrellitas! One of my favorite fashion & lifestyle male bloggers is Igee Okafor. Based in New York City and Born in Lagos, Nigeria, he is the editor of www.igeeokafor.com, a Lifestyle Blog that he founded and that has become a “destination for lifestyle enthusiasts to learn, and create all round conversation about Menswear and Culture”.

I discovered Mr. Okafor on Instagram a few months ago and I have been following his page ever since. I love photography and his photos are some of the best I have seen any Blogger do. He is more than a blogger, he is a model, as far as I’m concern. His personal style is elegant, classic, and refined. His amazing style has led him to collaborate with brands such as: MR PORTER, GQ, Todd Snyder, Timex, Netflix, Gap, East Dane, Express, Stella Artois, Stacy Adams, and Daniel Wellington just to name a few.

1-How did you get started in blogging?
I discovered the internet at a really young age. I started off posting pictures of my outfits on Lookbook.nu around the 10th grade. That was when I discovered blogging. I thought it was really awe-inspiring that people were given a platform to showcase their variety in personal style outside of traditional media. Seeing my interest surpassed just posting photos, I started to contribute for online media outlets. I did it for a long while until my mother encouraged me to start my own blog. I had a camera, and my creative writing talent. The rest is history.

2-What are your favorite brands or designers?
 I do not have a favorite brand, but I do have a variety I am inspired by. In this variety, I really enjoy the craftsmanship of luxury brands like Tom Ford, Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Victoria Beckham, and Dolce & Gabbana.

3-What advice would you give to any up and coming influencer?
 I say have a strong perspective in whatever strand of content you decide to indulge in.

4-Tell us about any upcoming projects and how can we follow your journey?

5-We like to end our interviews by asking for a favorite quote, what is yours?
I love quotes! I love staying positive and motivated and this one by Regina Brett keeps things in perspective as it pertains to cherishing life every day. “Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy clothes. Don’t save it for a special occasion. Today is special”.
