5 Things To Do During The Corona Virus Covid-19 Quarantine

Hola Estrellitas! We are going through some strange and unprecedented times during this Corona Virus COVID-19 quarantine. Staying home and social distancing has proven to work, and it is taking a toll in some of us on our mental health and wellness.

I wanted to share with you guys some of the things that I am doing to stay active and busy while at home on lock down. But before I share this with you, I just want to say that there is no right or wrong way of spending this quarantine time. If you want to walk, go for it. If you want to stay at home just watching TV that is ok too. Do what you think is best for you. I can only suggest to take a few breaks from the news to help with the anxiety. Whatever you do, I just want to say that there is no pressure. Move in your own time and space.

Here some of the things that I am doing to stay busy during this quarantine:

1-Gardening: I am enjoying watering the plants, planting new plants and just being out in my garden. I have learned so much about plants in the past few weeks and have a whole new appreciation for them.


2-Walking & playing volleyball: Walking has done a lot for me this past year. Besides helping lose a few pounds, walking also helps me think and clear my mind. I used to play volleyball when I young and I bought a new volleyball at Target the other day and started playing in my backyard.

3-Doing Puzzles: I have not done any puzzles since I was a young girl and I was inspired to do one by some of your posts online and by Blogger Courtney of the Blog Color Me Courtney. I have to admit that it was a lot of fun. Five hours later, I got it done!

4-Cooking: I have been cooking up a storm. My husband is getting really spoiled but I am enjoying it a lot. Take this time to try new recipes and dishes that you always wanted to try or make but never had time to.

5-Relax: It sounds so simple but yes, just relax. Watch TV, read a book, dance, cook your favorite meal etc.. As for me, I am enjoying a nice drink in my hammock, listening to the birds and enjoying a nice breeze in my backyard.
