
Anthropologie Launching First-Ever Plus Size Collection Called ‘APlus’
Brace yourselves Anthropologie fans, the beloved brand is expanding their sizes to include plus sizes as of March 15. That’s just a few weeks away Ladies!
The A+nthropologie or APlus by Anthropologie Collection will be available online in sizes 16W to 26W and in 10 select locations across the United States and Canada. In the United States, the collection will be available in the stores located in New York City, Toronto, Houston, and Atlanta.
Anu Narayanan, Anthropologie’s chief merchandising officer said about the launch: “For Anthropologie, the goal is to be the place where everyone comes to feel like the best version of themselves”. She also added: “We want to give every woman a wealth of options—and an experience that exceeds her expectations”.
The collection is launching on March 15th with 120 pieces from the retailer’s core spring 2019 line, including the in-house labels Pilcro and Essentials by Anthropologie, as well as outside brands such as Cloth & Stone and DL1961. The prices of the items range from $48 to 260 dollars.
The campaign for the launch was shot in Mexico City and it features plus size models Candice Huffine, Paloma Elsesser and Ali Tate.
Anthropologie is part of Urbn Brands, which also owns Urban Outfitters, and Free People. Will these other brands expand their sizing too? We shall see!
