Breaking Fashion News: Fashion Designer Kate Spade Dead at 55

The fashion world has been rocked to the core today after hearing the devastating news that beloved fashion designer Kate Spade was found dead in her apartment in New York City.
Spade, 55, was known for her colorful accessories and handbags. She was found by a housekeeper who called 911 at about 10:30 am EST, and according to the NYPD, it was an apparent suicide. She was pronounced dead at the scene and a suicide note was also found. Allegedly, she hanged herself with a red scarf tied to a doorknob.
Kate Spade is survived byΒ her husband of 24 years, Andy Spade, and her 13-year-old daughter Frances Beatrix.
