Romero Britto x Alex and Ani Jewelry Collection
Colorful Pop Artist Romero Britto collaborated with jewelry company Alex and Ani for a collection of charm bangle bracelets, charms and necklaces. Known for his use of vibrant colors and bold patterns, Brito, is a native of Brazil but he lives in Miami. He combines several elements in his work including: Cubism (think Picasso), Pop Art and Graffiti. The popular artist has said that he aims to promote hope and happiness with his work.
Brito had this to say about the collaboration in an interview for the Alex & Ani Blog: ” I love the idea of people having Art and Happiness so close to them. I hope it reminds them of the importance to smile everyday”.
The prices of the items range from $18 for a charm, $32 for a bangle and $48 and $58 respectively for a silver and gold plated necklace.
