Dominican Afro-Latina Singer Amara ‘La Negra’ is The Breakout Star of ‘Love & Hip Hop Miami’
Dominican Afro-Latina Singer Amara “La Negra”, joined the cast of the highly anticipated TV show “Love & Hip Hop Miami” and she is already the breakout star of the show because of her beauty and talent.
Amara, who is trying to cross over into the American market, is already a big star in the Urban Latin Music Industry. She has collaborated with musicians Trina, Kent Jones, Sean Paul, and Mr. Vegas, just to name a few. Born and raised in Miami to Dominican parents, she is known for her signature look: Her Afro, her curves, and stunningly flawless skin.
I am not a big fan of the “Love & Hip Hop” shows but just because of her, I will be watching. I am also going to watch it because the show is in Miami, one of my favorite cities in the world.
Amara, 27, has beauty and brains. She has a clothing line called ALN and she just landed a multi-album record deal with Fast Life Entertainment Worldwide and BMG. This is very exciting because she is going to be working with producers Rock City, who produced hits for Miley Cyrus, Nicky Minaj, Jennifer Hudson and Rihanna, among others.
“I’m still in shock! At times, I am caught pinching myself because there is a part of me that still is in awe of being signed to a franchise that will heighten my success,” she said in a statement to Billboard.com. She also added: “It is a feeling of a different level of hunger because I have prayed for this so much that it feels unreal! I am humbly honored to have a team that continues to believe in me. Having a pioneer in the music arena like Zach seeing the potential in my musical craft and talent. I am thankful for my team at Fast Life Ent. Worldwide and BMG for this opportunity as an artist. And I cannot wait for my fans to hear my new music”.
You are going to be seeing and hearing a lot about this beautiful Latinegra. The new episodes of “Love & Hip Hop Miami” will air on Mondays at 9 p.m. on VH1. Will you be watching?
