Dressing With Confidence On My Birthday Featuring Avenue

Hola Estrellitas! It’s my Birthday today! Happy Birthday to me! I am so grateful to see another year of life. This is 42 guys, and it really is true that the older you get, the more confident you become. I am collaborating with Avenue this month and they challenged me to pick three outfits from their website that I would feel confident in. Check out my picks:
Look #1 Handkerchief Hem Dress
My first look is a dress of course! I am most confident when I wear dresses. This dress from Avenue is very feminine and on trend. I love the mixed prints and the handkerchief hem of it. It is perfect to wear for Summer parties, graduation ceremonies, brunches or weddings. With Mother’s Day right around the corner, this would be a great dress to wear for that special occasion.
Look #2 Retro Print Kimono and Pants
I love a great kimono and this version of a kimono top is great because it’s very versatile, you can wear opened or closed. It comes with a tank attached to it, called a 2fer (two pieces for the price of one). This is a great office look that can turn into a party look with only a change of accessories. I have a lot of kimonos, long ones, short ones, it’s one of my favorite things to wear.
Look #3 Blue Jumpsuit
Jumpsuits are practical just like dresses. I don’t get to wear them as often as I like but I love them. This look is my favorite of the three looks. I felt beautiful in it, comfortable and of course confident.

Last year, I spent my birthday in Paris, and it was the best birthday ever. I don’t think I can ever top that. Paris was everything I hoped for and more. This year will be very low-key but nonetheless special. Thank you for being a part of my life journey.
