Happy Three Kings Day 2020!

tampa fashion blogger farrah estrella

Hola Estrellitas! Happy Three Kings Day! If you are Latino or Latina, you know that the holidays are not over until after Three Kings Day or El Dia De Los Reyes. For those who don’t know, Three Kings Day represents the day the Three Wise Men gave gifts to Jesus Christ.

In the Latin community, we don’t take down our Christmas tree until after this day and we also exchange gifts once again, in addition to Christmas Day.

Growing up in The Dominican Republic, I remember my Mom always bought an extra gift for me, even if it was something small like a ball or a doll. It was a different time, but I’m glad that some of us in the Latin Community are still celebrating it. It is a tradition that I hope to pass down to my kids someday.

The Three Kings Day tradition is a very old one. Do you have any traditions that you or family started? Share those with me in the comments, I would love to read about them. It’s a new year, it’s a new decade and it’s a new week. Let’s make it a great one, shall we?
