Hola Estrellitas!! When I saw GatsbyLady London designs coming down the runway during Full Figured Fashion Week 2016 back in June in New York, I knew I had to have one of those dresses. I was very lucky that after meeting the owner and designer, she was so kind to gift me this gorgeous dress.
I felt in love with her dresses and her collection was one of my favorites this year because it is so elegant and everything is handmade. My dress in particular is made of soft tulle with glass beads and sequins. She is also all inclusive, which means she carries from a size 0 to 26.
One of the things that I like about this dress is that the slip comes separate and you can even order a different color slip, which would technically change the color of the dress a bit. I was also very surprised with how heavy the dress was, I guess because of all the beading. I was so excited when I received the dress in the mail, I couldn’t wait to wear it and take pictures it. My friend and makeup artist Toni Nicole told me that she wanted to do my makeup for this look and I jumped at the chance. She is amazing and if you never worked with her before, you need to hire like yesterday.
She did an amazing job and my red lips and red nails matched perfectly with the grey color of the dress. Let’s talk about the turban though, I love it so much! I could wear turbans every day of my life.
I honestly felt like a princes in this dress and now that I know how great the quality of her garments is, I definitely will be buying a few of her dresses to go to a red carpet event or a party. It has to be a very fancy party because her dresses are on fire. Hey…”A little party never killed nobody”…LOL…I am accepting invitations and if it’s a Gatsby party , that’s even better.
What do you guys think of this look? Are you into vintage inspired clothing?
