
My Fitness Journey Update: 6 Months In

Hola Estrellitas! I started my fitness journey back in July of this year 2019 when I was at my highest weight ever of 372 pounds (Size 26-28). I am down to 338 pounds (Size 22-24) now, that’s minus 34 pounds and I am feeling great! It took me 4 months to lose those pounds, but it was worth it.
Even though I officially started keeping track of my weight, calories, etc… back in July of this year, I feel like I started a long time ago. It started with small changes such as switching from white rice to brown rice and from white bread to wheat bread. I also stopped drinking soda, sugary drinks and started incorporating more protein and water on my diet.
The results that I am seeing so far are being able to sleep better, my skin is clear, I have more energy and I am not feeling as much out of breath as I used to. I am in the gym 3 to 4 times a week too. I am so thankful for my trainer Destiny Marie from Live Laugh Workout in Color who is helping me get in shape. I honestly could not do it without her support and guidance.

My clothes fit better too. I was in between sizes, between a 26 and a 28 and it was starting to become really challenging to buy clothes because they didn’t fit right. I am back to my regular size 24 but I can feel the difference in my body. My goal is to become more toned, healthy and strong. Strong is beautiful.
2020 is going to be an amazing year and I hope that you guys follow my new journey to get fit as much as you have followed my fashion journey. Shall I say I am becoming fashionably fit…Yes!! XO.
