New Plus Size Brand Alert: Loralette from Avenue Plus
Hola Estrellitas!! We got great news for you today, there is a new plus size brand launching soon called Loralette. Let’s just say that this is Avenue Plus little sister.
Loralette is made for for curvy girls sizes 14 to 24, it caters to the “fashion-focused, digitally savvy woman ages 25-35 who is curvy and confident”, this is great!.
Even though I am not in their target market 25 to 35 year old tech savvy curvy girls, I still love the line and I will be probably rocking some of their looks. From what we have seen in the promo photos, the line looks very boho chic, with lots of pastel color tops, dresses and deconstructed denim.
You will be able to shop for Loralette at www.loralette.com starting on march 15th and also in select Avenue stores nationwide. Once you do, Tag them with your looks by using the hashtag #Letmebeme on Instagram.

I am so disappointed in this line. I love the clothes but they only go to size 24. Don’t they think that larger women want to wear young fashionable clothing? Just because we are larger doesn’t mean we want wear the same shapeless boring old lady clothes they force on us on these other sites. I was so excited when I started going through the site until I saw the sizes. Shame on Avenue and Loralette for perpetuating the the failings of the fashion industry.

I am so sorry that you feel that way.It’s a great line, I am sure that eventually they will go up on sizing since Avenue already goes up to a size 30-32. There are so many options out there, don’t get discourage. The more the merrier! Not every brand is for everyone, remember that. It’s great to even have options, that wasn’t the case 10 years ago but I totally understand what you mean. Thanks for stopping by!
