Stella Jean x Marina Rinaldi S/S 2017 Capsule Collection

Haitian-Italian designer Stella Jean has collaborated with Italian label Marina Rinaldi, for a capsule collection that was presented recently at a private event during Milan Fashion Week.

If you are not a fan of prints and color then this is not the collection for you. In true Stella Jean style, the collection is full of beautiful African inspired prints, gorgeous fabrics, as well as unique accessories.

I don’t think that a collaboration like this has ever been done before , two fine Italian labels collaborating together to bring us some great curvy fashion. As you guys might already know, Marina Rinaldi carries plus sizes from a size 14 to a 24. Midi skirts, jumpsuits, long coats and dresses are just some of the pieces that you are going to see in the collection, Stella Jean is also known for her great separates.

I have been following Stella Jean‘s career for a very long time, I am a huge fan of hers and her esthetic. I love how she brilliantly mixes prints and ads that Caribbean-African flavor to her pieces, with a level of sophistication that cannot be duplicated. Marina Rinaldi is luxury, high-fashion for the curvy woman. When designer collaborations come along, I always tell you guys to save your coins, this time I really, really mean it. Both of these labels are very popular and together they are a match made in heaven. This collection will surely sell out, it is going to be pricey but of so worth it.
