Supermodels Naomi, Cindy, Claudia, Helena and Carla Pay Tribute to Gianni Versace at The Versace SS18 Show in Milan
Supermodels Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Helena Christensen, and Carla Bruni stole the show at the Versace SS18 fashion show in Milan today. The Supermodels walked the runway holding hands alongside Donatella Versace and closed the show. They were there to pay tribute to the late Gianni Versace, who was murdered 20 years ago in Miami. The entire collection was very 1990’s Gianni Versace from the prints, the colors, and the looks.
I still can’t believe that Gianni passed away 20 years ago, it seems like yesterday. This collection and tribute gave me life! if you were lucky enough to be around during the 90’s, fashion was just what you would call “Extra” these days or “Too Much”. Versace was a Rock Star and his clothes were Goddy.
According to the Versace‘s website, The Versace Tribute Collection was created by Donatella and “Like a curator, artistic director Donatella Versace brings us into the depths of the Versace archives, carefully selecting meaningful collections created together with her brother. A celebration of a lasting legacy, an exhibition of timeless artwork-The Versace Tribute SS18 Collection recreates historic Versace prints for the first time in decades, reigniting the spirit of a genius for a contemporary generation”.
