TCFStyleExpo 2016

Hola Estrellitas!! I was in Atlanta over the weekend for the 2nd Annual The Curvy Fashionista Style Expo 2016. This year the event was 2 days, sadly, I was only able to attend one day but it was super fun nonetheless.

7:00 am My day started early, I had makeup artist Brittnee Danielle come to my hotel and do my makeup. My friend Plus model Latonia Robinson joined me on this trip. Brittnee doll us up and our makeup was on Fleek.

10:00 am I attended an invite only Blogger Breakfast hosted by Marie Denee aka “The Curvy Fashionista” herself. It is always great to see my blogger friends and catch up in person since we don’t get to see each other a lot.

On a side note, we got a goodie bag and it was fabulous!!, since Marie is a Blogger, she knows what we like and she hooked us up.

12:00 pm The doors opened to the public. I did a little shopping and walked around the event, meeting a greeting over 40 vendors that cater to plus size fashionistas like myself. There were shoes, accessories, candles, clothes etc..so much fun. In addition, there was food, music, massages, 2 fashion shows…there was something for everyone.

2:30 pm Ashley Stewart, who was one of the main sponsors for the event, held a fashion show showcasing some of the latest fashion trends from their Fall/Winter collection.

There were giveaways, photo booths, refreshments, music, a beauty bar to get pampered at and so much more. The event almost doubled in size from the year before. People came from all over the United States to attend. The event was hosted by Chenese Lewis of The Chenese Lewis Show, The #1 Podcast for plus size women. Former American Idol contestant Frenchie Davis also performed.
