The Belle Jardin Collection From Brighton Was Inspired By French Gardens

Brighton Belle Jardin Collection

Brighton latest collection is all about butterflies and Spring. The Belle Jardin Collection which means “Beautiful Garden” in French was inspired by the French gardens like Versailles and the French countryside. It was designed by classically trained pianist and designer Catherine Hong. Catherine is known for her use of bold patterns, lush colors and textures.

Catherine said this about the collection: “I’m so excited to share my new nature-inspired designs with you… I wanted to create a romantic effect, like the Giverny gardens the artist Claude Monet echoed on canvas. You can almost smell the blooming gardens and hear the hum of the wings. It’s fresh, colorful, happy art that you can take with you everywhere. I hope you enjoy wearing these pieces as much as I did creating them”.

I love butterflies and this collection really capture my eye. The colorful jewelry was all hand painted by artisans who applied each color separately, then fired and dried it for an entire day. It can take up to a week to finish the hand-painting for a single piece. In addition to jewelry, the collection includes handbags, card cases, coin purses, luggage tags, a compact mirror and a pill box.

The prices of the items ranges from $28 to $390 and you can shop for it at your local Brighton store and online at www.brighton.com.
