Christian Siriano RTW Fall 2018 at NYFW

The Christian Siriano Fall RTW 2018 show that was held today in New York City during fashion week, marked the designer’s 10th year in fashion.

Siriano, 32, showed 72 looks mostly bold evening gowns and he asked some of the top plus size models of the moment to join him in the showcase including Ashley Graham, who opened the show, Marquita Pring, Candice Huffine, Precious Lee, as well as his sister and muse Shannon, and his BFFs actresses Danielle Brooks and Selma Blair.

Siriano said in an interview about the show: “What was great about the show today was that I wanted to really start with my beginnings with this royal palace theme from the Queens Gallery. I started my design career in London. And I wanted to bring back the glamour, the elegance and the opulence”.

The models definitely looked like Queens. From the pink and red gowns, to the fur coats and the shoes that they wore, this show was a celebration of Siriano’s amazing talent and his contributions to bring diversity to fashion and to fashion week. Congratulations on 10 great years Christian and we can’t wait to see what you will do next.
