Plus size retailer Torrid recently launched a new collection inspired by the women of the show “Empire” of the FOX TV Channel. The show has 5 strong, beautiful, sexy and complicated characters by the names of Anika played by Grace Gealey, Cookie Lyon played by Taraji P. Henson, Becky played by Gabourey Sidibe , Rhonda played by Kaitlin Doubleday and Porsha played by Ta’Rhonda Jones.

The “Empire” TV show has become a pop culture phenomenon and it is being watched by millions of fans every week, not just for the story line but also for the fashion. I don’t think this has happened since “Sex and The City”. Cookie Lyon’s character is known for her Diva style, wearing furs and animal prints. Anika is known for her sexy bodycon dresses, Becky for colorful outfits, Rhonda for her business casual attire and Porscha for her more edgy style.

In addition to clothing, the 13 piece collection includes some accessories all ranging from $18 for a cuff to $118 for a faux fur coat. It is available in sizes 10 to 30.

Check out our favorite looks from the collection in the pictures down below. Shop for these and other looks at your local Torrid store and online at
