Sailor Moon Plus Size Fashion Collection from Torrid

Hola Estrellitas! If you are fan of the Japanese Manga turned Anime Series “Sailor Moon” by Naoko Takeuchi, you are going to love this collection. Plus size retailer Torrid is launching the first plus size “Sailor Moon” fashion collection inspired by the anime series.

Japanese Anime Series “Sailor Moon”

The 7-piece collection includes a patch denim jacket, a kimono, a hooded cardigan, two dresses, a tank top, and leggings, ranging in price from $38.90 to $98.90 dollars. The star of the collection is the skater dress inspired by Usagi’s costume, the main character in the series. The series follows the adventures of a schoolgirl named Usagi Tsukino as she transforms into “Sailor Moon” in search of a magical artifact, the “Legendary Silver Crystal”.

My two favorite pieces are the patch denim jacket that has “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon” printed in the back and the lace-back tank top with the heroine’s transformation phrase “Moon Prism Power, Make Up” printed in the front.

You only have to wait a few more days to get your hands on it. The first plus-size Sailor Moon fashion collection is debuting at Torrid.com on Tuesday, January 9.
