Candice Huffine stars in Torrid’s Fall Denim campaign

Hola Estrellitas! We have some very exciting plus size fashion news today. Plus size retailer Torrid just announced that they will be showcasing at NYFW this year, making them the first plus-size women’s fashion brand to present at NYFW: The Shows this September.

Plus size fashion has come a long way in the past few years and this is just another step towards diversity and inclusion in fashion.

What can we expect from Torrid on the runway? Well, fashion is always a season ahead and in the Fall they show Spring, so expect to see over 40 looks from their Spring 2018 Collection including trends such as: Edgy rock n’ roll, romantic boho, and elevated details including hand embroidery and painted elements. You are also going to see the Top 10 Finalist of the Torrid 2017 Model Search rocking the runway. The competition is being judged by 3 amazing celebrity judges including: Project Runway winner Ashley Nell Tipton, celebrity makeup artist Pricilla Ono, and supermodel Candice Huffine, who is also starring in Torrid’s latest denim campaign.

The Torrid NYFW Runway Show will take place on Tuesday, September 12, and they join a roster of over 70 shows taking place in New York City showcasing the Spring/Summer 2018 collections. NYX Professional Makeup will be doing the models makeup for the show.
