Plus size clothing brand Universal Standard recently introduced its first special occasion collection of eveningwear for plus size women.
Universal Standard in known for its direct-to-consumer approach and they carry clothing sizes 10 to 28. The new eveningwear collection is made from a luxurious satin-back crepe from France and it includes pieces that are ideal for wedding season, as well as any special occasion event.
This collection is very unique because according to Universal Standard :”The innovation truly lies in the invisible stretch and subtle design elements found throughout the collection that support our mission to design specifically for the size 10+ consumer”.

What I like about Universal Standard is their minimalistic approach to fashion. There is elegance in this type of approach and it is refreshing to see in the plus size market.
