Viktor and Rolf Fall 2017 Couture show in Paris today had the models looking like “Action Dolls”, according to their Instagram account. The models wore giant head pieces that look like round doll heads with exaggerated features. The truth is that you never know what you are going to get with Viktor & Rolf and that’s why we love them.

One of the great things about the couture shows in Paris is the unexpected surprises that you get from the collections. Some of them are predictable, some take your breath away and some leave you thinking or scratching your head. In this case your big head…LOL.

When it comes to couture there is no right or wrong. This is the only time when designers can be super creative and let their imagination go wild. In other words, do whatever they want without being judged. But let’s be honest, we judge them a little. It’s hard to concentrate on the clothing when all I can see is those giant heads with their big eyes looking at me. To their credit, they did send out the models down the runway without the big heads after.

Ok, so let’s tall about the clothing: Puff jackets, denim and Dr. Marten Boots. After looking at the pictures, I got to thinking, how boring would fashion be if everyone was doing the same thing, right?. So, with an open mind, I am going to enjoy it for what it is: Something fun, creative and out of the box.
