15 Green Items Inspired by Pantone Color of the Year for 2017: Greenery

15 Green Color Items Inspired by Pantone Color of The Year 2017: Greenery

Hola Estrellitas!! as you guys already know, Pantone Color of The Year for this year 2017 is: Greenery. When I think of Greenery, I think of nature, plants, money…lol..just kidding!!. In all seriousness, Pantone Color of The Year is a symbolic choice and it is meant to give us a snap shot of what is going on in the world and provide inspiration.

According to the Pantone’s website, green is symbolic of new beginnings. They also posted this on their website:”Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew. Illustrative of flourishing foliage and the lushness of the great outdoors, the fortifying attributes of Greenery signals consumers to take a deep breath, oxygenate and reinvigorate”.

I see this color a lot in Interior design and I am really curious to see how it is going to translate to fashion this year. I picked out a few green pieces to give you guys some inspiration. Some of the items are not a perfect match, they are not Greenery per say but they are green nonetheless.

Greenery to me is like foliage in nature and foliage doesn’t have one specific color of green, there are many different shades of green in nature, does that make sense? I hope I’m making sense.
