Actress Chrissy Metz gets 1st ever Golden Globe Nomination for Hit TV Show ‘This is Us’
Actress Chrissy Metz received her 1st ever Golden Globe Awards nomination today for “Best Supporting Actress” for her role in the hit TV show “This is Us”. If you haven’t seen the show yet, you are missing out big time, it’s really good. It’s about family and that is all I can say. I don’t want to give the plot away for anyone who haven’t seen it yet.
Chrissy, took to Twitter to express her feelings.
I can’t even express the love and gratitude I have for the incredible artists of @NBCThisisUs! Congratulations to the entire company! #hfp

Even though Chrissy resides in Los Angeles now, she was born in Homestead, Florida. Before her breakout role of Kate Pearson in “This is Us”, her previous roles included appearances on “American Horror Story” (2011), “Loveless in Los Angeles” (2007), “Entourage”, “My Name is Earl” and many others.
Two things that you may not know about Chrissy is that she is a very talented singer and that she also speaks Japanese, who knew!! She lived in Japan for almost 10 years.
Find out if she wins the award when the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards are televised LIVE on NBC from the Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 8, 2017 at 8:00 pm ET.
