Hola Estrellitas! Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the Art of The Brick Exhibit with my family and it was so much fun that I couldn’t wait to share my experience with all of you.
This FREE exhibit being held in Downtown Tampa, it’s the world’s largest exhibition of LEGO Art created by artist Nathan Sawaya, who has literally taken this medium to new heights. The exhibit traveled the world from Russia, to Taiwan, London, Brazil and many other cities and countries before coming to Tampa. What a great privilege for this great exhibit to come to our beautiful city.

Sawaya, who worked as a corporate lawyer before becoming a full-time artist, is the first artist to ever take LEGO bricks into the art world and he is also the author of two best-selling books. Considered contemporary art, his art consists of playing with the material, color, movement, light, and perspective.
