Fall Trend: Evrything Velvet
Hola Estrellitas!! I wanted to share with you guys another Fall trend that took over the runways this year and that is “Everything Velvet”. From shoes, to dresses, jackets and handbags, velvet is the IT fabric of the season.
I am not going to lie to you guys, I am not a big fan of velvet but this year I am going to give it a try, why not?. I am going to try some velvet shoes or a handbag. Not sure if I can do a dress or an entire velvet outfit yet, I think that it would be too much for me but baby steps, baby steps…LOL..The thing about fashion is, just because I don’t like it or I wouldn’t personally wear it , it doesn’t mean that some of you guys wouldn’t or that you don’t want to know about the latest trends. We all like to be inform and know what is going on in the world of fashion, right? It’s my duty to tell you, even if it is not something that I am crazy about.
One thing that I have to say is that,ย some of the pieces that you are going to see in stores are not your 70s , grandma velvet, no, no,no.. Velvet has evolved and we can now see very heavily embellished velvet shoes with rhinestones and embroidery, printed velvet jackets and even dresses and suits. Velvet might be growing on me…nah! LOL…I wouldn’t go that far.
