I don’t think anybody is doing couture quite like Guo Pei at this moment. Her designs are just out of this world, seriously!!. she is in a league of her own.

Guo Pei presented her Spring 2017 Couture Collection yesterday in Paris and and it left us in awe. We already knew that she was amazing when she designed that yellow dress for Rihanna to wear to Met Ball in 2015. For over 20 years, she has being designing amazing gowns for some of China’s biggest celebrities.
According to her website, Pei uses embroidery and painting traditions in her gowns that date thousands of years. She combines traditional Chinese craftsmanship with modern western style techniques to create her designs. She started sewing when she was 2 years old and graduated at the top of her class from the Beijing School of Industrial Fashion Design in 1986. She launched her label in 1997.

Guo Peiย employs over 500 skilled artisans dedicated to producing her stunning creations, some of which can take thousands of hours and up to two years to complete. She owns a studio on the prestigious Rue Saint Honorรฉ in Paris.

She is pure genius guys, from the craftsmanship, the fabric, the design to the textures and colors, we look forward to seeing more and more of Guo Pei in the future. The future of couture is in good hands with Guo Pei.
