Model Maye Musk becomes a CoverGirl at 69

Model Maye Musk just became the face of CoverGirl at the age of 69. One fun fact about Maye that you may not know about, it’s that she is the mother of Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

I’m so excited to say that I’m now officially a COVERGIRL! My three kids, ten grandchildren and I have had the hardest time trying to keep it a secret until today’s big announcement. Who knew, after many years of admiring the gorgeous COVERGIRL models, that I would be one at 69 years of age? It just shows, never give up. Maye has been modeling for over 50 years. She is signed to IMG Models Worldwide and has a long resume that includes covers for Vogue Korea and Elle Quebec, as well as beauty campaigns for Revlon, Target, Virgin America, and Clinique. I must admit that I have been following her on Instagram for a while now. She is just so elegant and regal. I love her white hair!.

Maye said on an Instagram post about the big news: “Thank you COVERGIRL, for including me in your tribe of diversity”. She also added: “Who knew, after many years of admiring the gorgeous COVERGIRL models, that I would be one at 69 years of age? It just shows, never give up”.

In addition to modeling, Maye is a very accomplished woman. She has two Master’s Degrees, she is a Nutritionist, has 3 kids and 10 grandchildren. Now she can add CoverGirl to her long list of accomplishments.
