Three-time Academy Award nominated actress Octavia Spencer donned a custom emerald green color dress from designer Brandon Maxwell to the 2018 Academy Awards, that were held yesterday at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.

Spencer, 45, received her second consecutive Oscar nomination, and third in six years, for her role as a custodian in Guillermo del Toro’s acclaimed movie “The Shape of Water”. Sadly, Octavia lost her bid to become the most decorated African American award winner and make history at the Oscars, after losing the Best Supporting Actress award to Allison Jenney for “I, Tonya”.
