Plus model Alessandra Garcia stars in ‘Generations of Wild’ Campaign for Wet n Wild Cosmetics.

Plus size model Alessandra Garcia stars in the new “Generation of Wild” campaign by Wet n Wild Cosmetics. Alessandra is having a great year, she is also being featured in the new Lane Bryant campaign #ThisBody is Made To Shine. In case you didn’t know, Alessandra is the daughter of Cuban actor Andy Garcia (The Godfather II). Also starring in the campaign are Corinne Foxx (Daughter of Jamie Foxx) and Ireland Baldwin (Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin’s daughter).

Alessandra had this to say about the campaign in an interview with WWD: “It was always a dream of mine to do a beauty campaign because, being a plus-size model, opportunities like this don’t come up often”. She also added: “Pioneering more diversity in this industry is important to me and Wet n Wild is definitely leading the way. Makeup is such a great tool to express yourself because you get to wake up every day and be someone different on the outside while remaining the same on the inside. I hope some of the campaign images will inspire more women to be who they want to be regardless of what our society’s standards are”.

The campaign features 27 products but they won’t be available until January of 2017. Wet n Wild cosmetics is known for having fairly inexpensive products but of great quality (cruelty free as well). The prices of their products ranges between $2 to $10 dollars and you can usually get them at your local pharmacy, such as in Walgreens or CVS, as well as on their website at www.wetnwild.com.
