Hola Estrellitas! The Pantone Color Institute just announced the color of the year for 2018 and it is called Ultra Violet, a dramatic purple shade inspired by “originality, ingenuity, and visionary thinking that points us toward the future”.

Every year, Pantone picks a color that sets the tone for designers and decorators for what is coming in the world of beauty, fashion, as well as interior design.

Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute said in a statement: “The Pantone Color of the Year has come to mean so much more than ‘what’s trending’ in the world of design; it’s truly a reflection of what’s needed in our world today.”
