David’s Bridal Spring 2017 Lookbook

Hola Estrellitas!! Bridal season is here!! and as you guys already know, I am going to be a bridesmaid for the very first time at my friend Brittany’s wedding this year. I am very happy for my friend and when David’s Bridal sent me their Spring 2017 Lookbook, I got super excited.

I wanted to share with you guys some of the trends that I saw on the lookbook:

1-Jumpsuits or Pants: It really takes a very confident woman to rock a jumpsuit on your wedding day or a pant suit for that matter. I actually love them!!. There is something very chic and sexy about them. I admire any woman that would wear one on her special day. Personally, I am more of a classic style type girl so I would wear a dress but the jumpsuit could be a great option for the party and the dress you could wear for the ceremony and the pictures. That’s another option ladies, something to think about.

2-Rose Gold Embellishments: I am HUGE fan of rose gold and I can see that it is going to be a color trend for next year. This wedding dress with rose gold embellishments on it, is fabulous.

3-A-line Dresses: This is such classic silhouette that in my opinion, it will never go out of style when it comes to wedding dresses. It is very flattering and looks great in almost every body type, especially in plus sizes.

4-Fit & Flare Gowns: I think this silhouette is one of my favorites, when it comes to wedding gowns. It is just so beautiful. I mean, what woman doesn’t want to look like a princess on her wedding day?. When you add lace, tulle or organza into the mix, who can say No to this dress!!.

5-Jewel Tone Bridesmaids Dresses: We could never forget about the bridesmaids, they complement the bride and for Spring 2017, the it colors for bridesmaids are: Marine blue, emerald Green, grey, wine and rose gold. If you are feeling adventurous, I would go with a print. Prints are perfect for Spring and they are so colorful and different. I love being unique.

What I love the most about David’s Bridal, is that they carry plus sizes. I actually got married in a David’s Bridal dress and they have a very special place in my heart just for that. I had a great experience in the store almost 7 years ago when I went to buy my dress. Check me out!! LOL…Not bad, right? I’m no model but I was happy and that’s all that matters.
