Ashley Nell Tipton x Boutique + by JCPenney

Hola Estrellitas!! New York City is on fire this week, lots of fashion shows and events as New York Fashion Week kicks off tomorrow. Yesterday, Project Runway winner Ashley Nell Tipton launched her exclusive collaboration with Boutique + by JCPenney with not one but three fashion shows at Greeley Square.

Plus size bloggers and models rocked the runway in her new collection and Plus Model Tess Holliday opened the shows for her. There was a lot of diversity on the runway, from a size 14 to a size 24, and many different shapes and heights. The Ashley Nell Tipton x Boutique + line caters to plus size fashionistas sizes 1x to 3x ( 14 to 26) and up to 5x (32) online. It is also very affordable, most of the pieces are below $100 dollars.

Ashley had this to say about the collection:”JCPenney has given me the opportunity to realize my dream of designing fashion for curvy women everywhere who want clothes that make them feel young and sexy”, she also added: “Drawing inspiration from 1950s bombshells, I chose high waist pencil skirts and pair them with crop top blouses because I wanted to show how everybody can rock this combination. Ultimately, the collection is about turning up the volume on your style as well as your confidence.I want women to wear these pieces and feel great about how they look”.
